Prologue

Mary: “From the very start the people of Fiona found great comfort in violence.  Their neighbors were hunters or farmers by trade, but the people of Fiona were raiders.  Even when they called their city Blackwell they worshipped war and gave their sacrifices to it.”

Show a map of Albion, where Fiona is situated, and show a dark shadow spreading from Fiona’s center.

Mary: “The Ferenn family has lead Fiona from infancy. It won this right through the usual means: violence.  They killed their way into the crown and then built their throne on the corpses.”

Show scenes of war.  Show villages burning.  Show people being slaughtered.  Show entire populations in chains.

Mary: “Fiona spreads as disease does: one village at a time.  They subjugated their neighboring tribes and shortly after their neighboring cities.  While others focused on trade or medicines or both, the Ferenn family and their people focused exclusively on war.  They made weapons from stone, wood, and from people.  Just as mankind took their fate from the gods, Fiona took the land from those who had cultivated it.”

Show ruined cities.  Show the ruins of Red Wall and of Emeraldine.  Show other fractured cities.

Mary: “This was their way.  This was their history.  They knew only murder and how to inflict it on others.  But people don’t tell stories about everyday occurrences, do they?  Similarly, this story does not end there, with the fractured land of Fiona, known more for its cemeteries than its scenery.  No, no, things changed, as they often do, and what brought about this change was a boy, a young prince.”

Show baby Zelos in the arms of a mysterious female figure.

Mary: “Zelos Ferenn, the fourth son of those who would be the future king and queen.  With his birth Fiona came into a new era, an era of peace.  They had one last city to take if they wanted to make the island their own, but the current king died, and Zelos’ parents took the throne.  With this things changed, and diplomacy became their new weapon...”

Show the castle of Fiona decorated and lit up at twilight.

Mary: “This is where our story starts.  It is winter, and there is a celebration being held in honor of the unification of two people with very different histories.  Remember this, for you will be tested on it later: Fiona has a bloody and violent history.  That is its nature, and though Fiona was changing it should be noted, change does not come without a cost.”
Technically speaking, this isn't script format, but this is how I've written scripts for years, so it's what I am doing with this.  Not to say that I shouldn't take the time to learn how to do it properly, but still.
This is the prologue to The Unnamed Story, a motion-comic idea I had a while back.  The artist who was going to work with me on it never came through with the art part, but I finished the script and am running the second book on my blog (redwhalestories.blogspot.com, for those interested).  I'll be updating the script and the novel simultaneously on here.  So, sit back and enjoy, if you like.  This is just the beginning!
